My name is Katie Wood, but I have many titles… Girl Mom, Queen (I mean wife), Daughter, Believer, sister, friend, Encourager, Prayer, amateur comedian, coffee addict, food lover, and my favorite (besides the first three)… photographer.
I find my joy in capturing other people’s moments of joy. My heart smiles capturing other people’s smiles. I cry happy tears capturing those unforgettable happy tears. Maybe its the servant heart in me, maybe its the nurturer mentality, maybe it’s the secret romantic side I have, but I just love the honor of being the person who gets to push the button. Push the button and give others the gift of their favorite memories that they can tangibly hold in their hands. I love taking the “ordinary” “everyday” moments and making them “extraordinary”. Nothing fills me more than giving my clients an experience, and helping them make memories that result with images they can look back on and love for years to come.

I am absolutely ecstatic to announce our dream for a studio has come true! We both individually have worked so hard for this accomplishment and can not wait to share this space with you!
Studio Sol is a space for us to be able to create so much + capture all of your moments in our own businesses! Newborn sessions, headshots, boudoir, maternity, family…and all the minis…you name it! Happy is an understatement when we try to describe how we are feeling about our studio at The Mill Building- we already see so many smiles and beautiful moments happening here.
